FINALLY...some Christmas pictures

It's been absolutely ages since we've posted any pictures (well, a long time for us anyway!) so here are some of the highlights of our Christmas.



I found these two elves trying to break into our Christmas presents. We let them stay cause they were so cute. (Christmas eve)


This picture is just for Chadya. I tell him every day that if his Auntie Chad could only see him, she'd be pinching those cheeks like crazy. (Elf costume provided by Scott and Chadya. Thank you very much).


The elf finally fell asleep.


And this is one excited jadeybug...if you look closely, you'll see her bluesclues slippers...and the makeup she's nicked from big sis Ashlie.


This picture wasn't taken over Christmas, but she's just too cute not to post. Now THESE are some cheeks you'd have to pinch Chadya!!


David fixes the camera with his strong, silent type gaze... (Picture taken boxing day. After wearing 7 different baby's first Christmas/santa suits (they were just TOO cute!) David insisted on wearing something BLUE on boxing day).


And immediately afterwards he and Daddy crack up...what jolly fellows...

...they all rolled over and one fell out...

Tonight at 11:37 DAVID ROLLED OVER from his back to his tummy. AND THEN REPEATED IT TWICE!!! no matter that he was in bed and supposed to be sleeping, but was really trying to get to mummy, wake her up, and eat even more (it's all he did today)...my clever little bubby ROLLED OVER!! so we all got up to celebrate. "three bears in the bed and the little one said..."

Davey's getting to the stage where he won't stay still for a picture. But I think you can still tell what a jolly santa he makes...

Hey there stranger! 

He's getting so big. if he could only figure out how to get over his arm, Davey could roll over. And this is how high he can lift his head now. 

It's Davey's 2 month birthday today. Despite the fact that he had THREE NEEDLES today, he was very smiley this evening. What a cutie :) 

Here Davey is telling Uncle Rob what he wants for Christmas... 

My brothers were over tonight. Little Dave was really impressed with big Dave. And Uncie Rob's pretty cool too :)

O Tannebaum...

We FINALLY bought our Christmas tree...


This wicked cool machine is what they use to wrap the tree so it's all tidy. Then, believe it or not, you can fit a six foot tree into the trunk of a Honda Civic. We can't even hardly fit a stroller in there, but we fit our tree. Weird. It's a wicked cool magic tree shrinking machine!


This is the sum of Davey's input into the whole process (though we DID take him out of the car for the walk around the farm...he just didn't really look much different than this...


Ashlie came over and directed the tree decorating process...


After we finished the tree, Ashlie decided to dress up in my old dress and wig.
