Today I went to a Scrapbooking retreat out in Mission. Andrew and Davey had a great day playing at Crescent Beach, walking round our neighborhood, eating and getting into mischief. Here Davey's scarfing some some fruit for lunch. MNN mnnn

Maybe one day he'll graduate talking into a blackberry like his dad...or maybe this is the new wave in technology??

Latey Davey has taken to painting his face with his food. We're not sure where he learned it, but he thinks it's VERY funny. Course he doesn't think it's funny when we try to wash it OFF after dinner!!

I'm seeing a resemblance to Davey already...
This is a picture of our ultrasound picture, so the quality is not so great. But here's our bubbaloo. Scroll past today's pictures to get the update on how the ultrasound went.
Description of picture: The top right quadrant is baby's head. You can just make out the ear on the very edge, and part of one eye and the nose. Baby has it's little fist balled up against the other side of the face and it's other fist behind the other side of it's face. From the fist you can make out, it's arm comes down for the bottom right quadrant. It's little leg covers the bottom of the picture and curves up into the foot. The rest of the stuff must be placenta or something. Ultrasound techs are prettttty talented people!!

Davey, being a very cultured and civilised fellow, is slightly perturbed by his cousins' eating habits.

well...
well, we're back from our ultrasound. And we have good news and bad news:
Good News: Getting to watch the baby for a full hour was awesome! The tech wasn't breezing over anything quickly (like they do at your regular ultrasound so that you can't see anything you're not supposed to). Baby likes to have it's hands over it's face, little fists bunched up by it's cheeks. So incredibly sweet. And the baby is such a little boogie baby. Holy cow! It was so hard to get any clear pictures the way it kept dancing around. The tech seemed pretty sure of the gender of the baby, we got a good long look anyway.
BUT
Bad News: They didn't feel like they were getting good enough pictures for me. In fact, about half way through, baby rolled onto it's stomach and though it was still dancing, didn't show it's front or face again.
More Good News: Because they weren't satisfied, we didn't have to pay for today's show. They booked us in again for a month from now and we'll get our video, cd of pictures etc then. They did print us one picture which I'm going to try to scan and post later, upstairs.
So, I guess we'll just keeping referring to the baby as IT even though we're pretty sure we know what IT is, until the next ultrasound. April 22nd. Though in my head, I'm already calling baby by name...

Watch this spot
This evening at five we get to meet our baby! Finally it's time for the 3d ultrasound. Hopefully they'll send us home with some GREAT pictures which I will then post here.
YAY. Even Davey woke up super excited today.
No other blog updates because the batteries in my digital camera are dead and I can't find the charger...yet. We're still surrounded by mountains of boxes. And we haven't even touched the ones in storage yet. HELP!

FINALLY we update our blog
What a busy few days! On Saturday we moved to our new place. It took us a few days to get our Internet connection hooked up. So, in the meantime I've just being going snap happy with the camera. Here's a few of my favorites from the last four days.

Davey would have smiled for the camera, but he was too busy watching the cat trying to steal Nicole's lunch.
