EVERYONE insisted on a bubbas tonight. Tink was the only one who drank hers. The others are in the fridge. They'll be good for on cereal tomorrow...


I need to sleep...more tomorrow ;)

Every night before I go to sleep I check on the kids. It's pretty funny the positions they sleep in. One day I'll remember to bring the camera. Last night both were sleeping pretty normally except for one thing...Tink had her arm through the head of her pyjama top. She's been trying to figure out how to dress and undress herself so I guess she was practicing before she went to sleep.

Well, I decided to try and get her arm out without picking her up. As I was trying to gently slide her arm out though she started murmuring, "help. Help!"

Okay, well if she's already talking maybe I'll try picking her up and doing it. "No! help...my. Mine! helllllllp!".

But somehow she didn't wake up through all of that talking.

Today she wanted to be a princess again. Here she is singing "Aloha Turtle, Aloha Lance. Dance, dance, dance".

Oh, and we're selling our townhouse. We're going to move back to my mum's house again (more on that some other time). I made a blog about the townhouse (of course!) here.

Saturday

These pictures are already up on Facebook, but I haven't entirely given up on blogging yet.

Saturday we decided to see just how many activities we could squeeze into one day. So we started the day by getting our heating ducts cleaned. Good times. And Gord, the guy from Sears was awesome. We highy reccomend them.

When he was done we headed to Dinotown. Davey went and sat in the car the moment Gord left so that we would have to go. No more making excuses for not going parents!!




I think this little house with the slide was their favorite. They kept coming back to it. You go in the house and slide out to the back yard. Fun!



It was soooo hot on Saturday. So I kept dragging the kids back to the firehall and hosing them down. My water hating boy did not like that.


The first time we did the train, tink was scared. She hid her face in my shoulder and barely moved. But then she kept asking to go back on. So here she is our second time round. And though she looks very quiet right this moment, she was clapping and roaring and dancing and singing and pointing to things...she had fun.

The bumper cars were a big hit, but I only got in once because all but one were full of disgusting stagnant water. I don't know why they didn't tip them out at the beginning of the day.


Andy and Tink took a boat ride.

We beached the boat and threw Davey in for a photo op, but he is not a boater.

Next it was off to Bridal falls.


Then to Sasquatch Park to enjoy the water.


This time every one but Andrew got in.

Wow, here it is Friday again already and I bet anyone who still reads this is thinking I've given up blogging for entering contests. Not so. Not quite anyway. I realised today that it's the Friday of a long weekend so I needed to empty my camera and get the batteries charged in anticipation of the festivities.

not that we have a lot planned. And I'm seriously bummed about that. Back in January when I planned every single one of Andrew's holi-days as well as each long weekend, I had big plans for this weekend. But it looks like we're moving again and I have a lot of work to do. So Andy is going to be keeping the kids out of my hair while I get our house ready to list. Unless any of you want to buy our lovely townhouse??? Private sale??

Anyway, so that I don't feel the entire weekend was wasted, we are going to go to Dinotown just as soon as the duct guy finishes with our heating ducts.

Here is a shot of Tink from last Saturday. She looks exhausted. Why don't I ever notice till I'm posting on the blog? Notice how she's finally getting some hair though...

Same day, not so tired Davey boy.

Mother's Day. All you moms who got totally spoiled and blogged about it...I'm so jealous. But Andrew's a programmer, not a lover...well, he's not a romantic. And I'm okay with that. SO. After dragging everyone out of bed and making sure they were fed I forced them out to Langley to see MY mum. But first we stopped at the park.

And this is from yesterday. There's a little place called the White Wedding Chapel out in Greendale. And they have the most amazing fence which is currently covered in clematis. One of my favorites.

It goes on forever. Gorgeous!

We kidnapped Jade yesterday and went for lunch. Then Andy dashed into Home Depot for me while Tink ransacked Jade's purse. She had some awesome stuff in there. You know, real girl stuff. Not like me. My purse (when I have it) is full of crayons and stickers and wipes and diapers...you can tell I like to have lots of preschooler distractions on hand.




Back home again and out on our balcony for a quick dip.

And then Davey spotted our neighbor, Rain...

And today while our carpets got cleaned, we were banished to the backyard. Thank goodness it was perfect backyard weather!!
