Camping at the Abelmans

We loaded up our car for a camping trip!

I think we were a little bit excited!

 Look at these sweet babies.

Okay, so we finally made it to Chilliwack and our camping destination!

I think I musta been feelin' myself because there's a lot of selfies. However, since there often aren't many pics of me, I'm gonna post 'em.

Mayah was also in full comedic force.

We spent some time in the pool.

While the boys spent time drinkin'.

 And flexin'.

There's always good snacks at the Abelmans.

Later, while Natasha cooked, the boys played in the sand. Apparently I wandered around taking pictures.

And liz rummaged in the shop.

 Food time.

David tried out some new wheels.

Then they got lead on a merry adventure. Stealing and pillaging at the neighboring farm. Look how pleased they are with their stolen gains.

Until I told them that they were thieves.

 And they could be arrested.

Liz isn't sure whether to believe me.

LOL. Poor kids. I traumatized them.

We took the criminals inside to watch some movies.

And then they slept the sleep of bad little kiddos.

Randoms

Is this the first day of school? If so, then I think this is Elisabeth's first day of kindergarten? I'm going to have to research.

That would make this first day of grade 2?

And then we went to City Park.

 And Williams Park.

Point Roberts

Who knows why we were down here. But it was a magnificent day!

 Between climbing,

 watching the boats,

 finding driftwood homes,

 and watching more boats...

we had a lot of fun!

David, Amy, Ben and Lizzie are sitting `round the table eating lunch and talking about ketchup. David regales them all with a tale about `that time Daddy got ketchup on his shirt and it never came off.`

"They didn't have OxyClean back in those days so I guess they just couldn't get stains off."

It's been four months without cable and yet the legacy of brainwashing lives on...
******
listening to my kids play together is always so funny.
Lizzie: The princess wants Darth Vader's wife to be beautiful.
David: Yeah but Darth Vader is trying to kill his wife. And their first stop is their friends' house.
Lizzie, showing David her polly pocket which is dressed up in Sleeping Beauty's clothes: Look, here's DV's wife.
David: oh yeah. Look, he has his gun pointed at his friend's house.

Oh the joys of Star Wars Polly Pocket Lego playing!
