Sooooo. these pictures are way out of order and I have no idea why. But here are the two boys mugging for the camera and I think this is the hotel in Victoria.

Andrew trying on helmets at Toys R Us.

This is also from Victoria. One of our favorite stores.

Oh my gosh, these vikings are so cute!

This is Dave and his progeny. Or one of them. This is from our trip to the coast.

 Awwww ruby!
 David, entertaining the kidlets.

I had video of this somewhere too. They wouldn't stop kissing him. It was so great.

David, sleeping in his new bed.

For Andrew's birthday we went to the car show.

There was a colouring station. I ended up spending most of the time there with these two.

 Which was most enjoyable.

 And then we explored.

Good golly, there are a lot of cars to look at. I'm glad we started on top because if I'd spent most of my time on the car lot deck I would have been disappointed.

This is right before we broke this display.

And all the men watching just laughed and cracked jokes and not one offered to help.

 Man bun!
My boy on the beach in Gibsons.

We took a trip to Ikea. Andrew and Katherine may have gotten a talking to for goofing off...

And Ruben ate a BIG breakfast.

I tried to prove that these two really do look like twins.

Buuuuut...it might be all in my head.

Sometimes I take pictures

We came home the other day and even though it was raining, the flowers were so beautiful I had to stop and take some pictures.

I seldom print pictures to begin with (it's just not really in our budget, especially with the number of pictures I take!) But I definitely wouldn't ever print pictures that don't have our family in them. So, I thought I'd share them on here.

just random stuff from spring break

some days I just don't have it in me to take pictures. Ya know? Here are some randoms though.

Eastering

Since it was spring break, I brought the two oldest munchkins home with me. We did a lot of hanging out that I don't seem to have taken any pictures of. And then on Saturday we decorated eggs. I suggested crayons first, but Adelaide has taken a dislike to crayons so she used felts.

Ruben did some drawings in crayon and some in pencil.

And then he quickly decided that just dipping the eggs in dye was the most satisfying.

We went old school this year and just mixed food colouring with vinegar and boiling water. No sprinkles, no oil swirls, nothin' fancy.

Although Elisabeth mixed her dyes and experimented with length of time dipping in the them.

Ruben went for a very monochromatic look, with the exception of the back egg. I think he dipped that one in blue too, after he'd done red.

Such a serious little love.

Once they'd finished the eggs, they got busy colouring and stickering.

David had been out shopping with Andrew and then fixed our bathroom fan. So I held back some eggs for him and he did those later.

Then showed off his yo yo skills.

I've missed an entire semester.

But, Lord willing, I will be going back to work 3 weeks yesterday.

That, is craziness.
