Baby Showers

Today our church threw me and Davey our first baby shower. It was so overwhelming to have so many people spoil us... Since neither Andrew nor I have much family in the area it was really a HUGE blessing. We left feeling really, really loved.

As you can see from the pictures below, there are lots of boys close to David's age at Parkland. He's going to have lots of friends to play with. As well Joe and Gaynor had their baby on Friday and it was a boy too! So there's really a boy-baby boom happening right now. Yay for Boy power!!

All the presents were truly wonderful, but I think two of my favorites were the AWESOME Canucks jersey the Wilsons bought David, and some seriously cool COOKIE MONSTER slippers from the Daveys. Oh, and the santa suit from the Tonns (how did they know I was looking for one of those?) and the books, and the bath stuff, and the shrek bubble bath, and the candles...okay, we really got spoiled and it was all awesome, wonderful stuff. We go to the best church!
