David is getting really good at learning his letters and trying to sound out words. So the other day he asked for help in reading what Andrew's sweater said. Together we sounded out the words American Eagle. He was pretty proud of himself.

A few minutes later I excused myself and went to another part of the house. That's when David went up to Andrew and drawing his fingers across the writing on Andrew's shirt said, "American Turkey!"

uh huh, you got that right!
