A newborn Solomon is born!

David and Alexis' third born was born, and we needed to meet him! It was another pro-d day, so we ventured to the coast.

 David went incognito!

And here he is, little Solomon.

I was trying to get pictures for my natural light assignment, but they didn't quite work out as I'd hoped.

But still, look at that little love!

Solomon was over 10 pounds when he was born. Our family sure does have big babies!

And, as you can see, David was absolutely delighted to have another boy cousin.

While Solomon, Alexis and Ruben napped, the rest of us walked across the road to visit their beach. oh my!

It is the perfect pirating beach! We were all in love.

It's a bit hard to see in the pictures, but there was a lot of climbing and scrambling, it was quite arduous work.

So we ventured around the corner of this rock towards another beach. Dave thought maybe there was another way back up to the road where the houses were. But we couldn't find it and the tide started to come in.
Me being me, I of course started to panic. I had visions of us all being caught on the rocks and drowning (too many Anne of Green Gables books).

Oh here you can see just how far up and down we had to climb in the rocks.

Obviously, we didn't die. In fact, there was never any danger of it happening.

Ada and I found a piece of driftwood that was balanced on some rock. We each stood on one end of the log and I bounced us up and down.

Between that and the crashing waves coming in, she thought it was pretty great.

Then she pulled out her umbrella to show me.

And then Dave got a call from his friend Dave, for us to meet them for gelato in Gibsons. Now that's my kind of invite!

 Typical Dave face.

We ventured onto the pier to look at the boats, and anything else we could find.

They put life vests on the pier for children to wear. Brilliant for when you've got three under 6 to look after.

The other thing we got to do was watch the sea planes take off.

And finally we made our way back to the purple house for a last visit with the babies.
