birthday festivities

Elisabeth got a lot of gift cards for her birthday, so we took her to Tsawassen Mills (which is the best mall around for preteens). She and her friend Haylea got tired of following their moms around, so they took off. We found them at Laura.

Which when we first walked in, Annette was like, "why are they HERE?" but I said wait till you see the gowns.

And of course, that's where they were.

When I was her age, dressing up like this was all I thought about. A princess.

And then we went home and they drew on each other.
