Our serious, thoughtful firstborn. David is all boy. He loves climbing trees, riding his bike, playing with lego and transformers and hurling himself off anything and everything. But he also loves snuggling. That makes him pretty much perfect in my books.

I'm not awake yet, but I noticed the picture of Jasper and Davie. Sorry -- that's Davie and Jasper. The little prince and princesses were darling too, but you know me and cat fur.... I can't wait until Davie can get out of his contraptions on his own and chase the cat around. Then we'll see the fur fly. Yes, I know I said I love them, but a little fun is nice too. And I don't get a whole lot. Our idea of fun is in your next pic, "The squirrel." When Zeke sees one flitting across the back fence, he skitters like mad across the laminate flooring, moving his legs and 90 mph, but only actually moving maybe 5 mph due to the slipperly surface, and we open the door and he's out like a racehorse at the starting gate. And dang blast is that durn squirrel got away again.
PS I'll try to be more sophisticated next time. Maybe I need a "buckie" like in Jenn's "DishRag" piece.
