On Friday morning Elisabeth was complaining that she was cold. So I bundled her up in a hat and scarf and she looked so cute, I had to snap a picture. Maybe this is what she would look like if she had lush dark hair. A mother can dream about such hair, right?
Friday was also the day of the Terry Fox Walk at David's school. The kindergarten kids are partnered off with buddies from Mr. Jensen's class (Ashlie's teacher from last year) for the whole year and they met them yesterday for the walk. Here they are right before they met them.
And this is David and his buddy. They were so cute together. As David later told Grandma, "I got a buddy and I talked to him a LOT!"
Then we went on a walk around the block. With 18 k kids and enough buddies that they all had at least one buddy, plus assorted moms and siblings and grandpas and dads, we made quite a big group. David was upset that the walk was so short (like I said, he enjoyed talking to his buddy!) but it was more than enough for Elisabeth.
See?
She didn't like Grosspapa carrying her, so after I'd had her for a while, Aunty took her. She LOVED that!
Then, back at school, all the Kindergarten kids got a popsicle.
