Choooosin' a Tree

For this year we decided to get our tree at Art's Nursery.

We enjoyed some seasonal hot beverages and a stroll around their Christmas store.

Santa wasn't there, but we found some props and his chair and made do.

As one does in these situations.

Then we went home, donned our finest Christmas hats and decorated the tree.

Girl's day out in Chilliwack

Welp, in my files, these pictures are a bit out of order. But in my memory, this all happened on the same day. Wardrobe seems to indicate this is true, so here we go...

Car selfies are the best selfies, don't ya think?

Since I'm blogging from 2020, I'm again going to keep things I probably wouldn't have if I'd blogged this in 2011. But this was the height of my weight loss and I'd like it to inspire me to get back on track!

My Daveyboy.

A Christmas tree?! I'm jelly!

This is my jelly face.

We were off to Chilliwack, I was hanging out with Tash. Did everyone hang out at her house? I'm not sure anymore.

Riley came with us for part of the day.

mnnnnnn Starbucks!

And there's nothing like that winter sun. ha ha.

Stop
We ventured to Sardis Park.

Lord I love these kids.

Natasha and I went for lunch at Dickens.

I lived in Chilliwack all my life and never went anywhere or that's what I'm starting to think. This place was cool. I remember my mum always wanted to go there. Wonder why we never did?

These were creepy.

From Dickens we went back to the farm and took even more selfies. I'm going to blame the fact that for the first time in my life, I felt like I looked good. Whatever. I'm cute.

The mountains are gorgeous.

Afterwards, the Ms went for a drive around downtown Chilliwack.
