Andrew and I were in the States just before Christmas and I saw a ceramic village for $15. I bought it but now the problem was we had to paint it. If you know me, you know I'm not a very patient person. So painting...oy.

Andrew helped me.

In the meanwhile, David painted his Warhammer models.

Elisabeth too.

Who did it better?

We had pizza for dinner. Not so interesting, but look at her sassy face.

We did those charcoal masks. They're kind of fun. Until you try to peel them off, and they take off two layers of your skin as well.

Christmas on my phone

I really thought I had blogged all of Christmas but then there's all these pictures on my phone. So here they are shoved at the end of the Christmas stuff. Kind of.

Christmas morning we opened our presents.

One of the greatest things about having Christmas with older kids is they shop for us now. I love the things they come up with. Andrew's Christmas was kind of themed.

Actually, so was mine!

This is making me excited to decorate for Christmas again ha ha!

After presents, we had to go snuggle some babies.

Larry came for Christmas!

And the girls helped cook Christmas dinner.

I live for these big family get togethers even though they wear me out.

Jolly saint Jade stopped by too.

Along with Rudolph.

 After dinner we played games.

Kyle came too!

After mom and dad went home, the Rossi children took us to ToysRUs.

Ruben loves waking David up. He always asks for that pleasure.

 Playgrounds are our jam.

We tried to go to the Land of Christmas, but it was closed. So we went to see the lights in downtown Langley instead.

The wood in McBurney Lane was covered in frost and made an excellent skating rink!

 Rob and his family arrived.

And we managed to get to the Land of Christmas after all!
