That time we took the littles to Harrison Lake

You'll see here that we went to Harrison - to Sasquatch Park I think it's called. We spent the day eating, throwing balls, playing in the water and chasing each other up trees. 

Because it's tradition

On July 20th we go to Harrison to celebrate Denis' birthday and this year was no exception.

Last time we were there, I got heat stroke (though to be fair we went to the beach then the races, but still). So this year I found a hat.

Elisabeth brought everything but the kitchen sink, as is her wont.

 We went for a walk and Kandace found herself a birthday present.

We went down to the swimming hole where everything looked different!

No paddling around on the tree trunk this year, it was too dry!

Then Denis and the boys went for a bike ride.

Andrew and Elisabeth went for a float.

I guess we need more shade next time.

When we got sick of the sun, we went for ice cream!

This used to our favourite ice cream stop, then they closed. So we were happy to find out new owners had reopened the place!

 I just wanted one nice picture of everyone.

Kandace was in a silly mood apparently. No more sugar for her!

 Then we took the long road home. Beautiful.
