Ending Spring Break in Port Moody

We were meeting Michelle and Julius in Port Moody. We got there a bit early so I wanted to go walk around all the blossoms.

Look at how pretty it was there.

All up and down the street.

In all the times we've been to Rocky Point Park, we've never wandered around the train museum. It was closed, but we peered in the windows.

 Isn't it beautiful?

Sneaky pictures through the window.

We brought the tent.

Do you know, we were there by ten and there were no picnic tables left already? So we set up around this bench. The above picture is the view from my chair.

Then we drove to Gabi and Jules - a place Julius has been telling me about for years.

While we waited for the Nicholsons to arrive, I took pictures of my people.

 Wow, the food was pretty.

Jade's Grand Day Out Version Two

Spring break and we found ourselves at the bridge.

A long time ago I saw shots on some social media post or something of this eagle view walk. I was immediately obsessed and knew I needed to come here. That's kind of crazy considering how afraid I am of heights. But it quickly became my favourite place on earth.

Jade is so brave. Coming here is terrifying for her and she always puts on the trooper face. AND THIS TIME we got her out on here. SO BRAVE

I was going to say this is my favourite part of Cap Bridge, but I already know that I'm lying. I love every inch. But look at how pretty this is.

Jade had something in mind for me to accomplish with boomerang. She shouldn't have asked the old person to film it.

We stopped for lunch!

Seriously, do  you see why I want to live here?!

 Across the bridge!

When you get to the tree tops adventure, you can do a little activity book. If you bring it back, you get a button. My kids do it every time. They are very serious about it.

Someone please come make my back yard look like this.

Also I'd really like a bridge that looks like this one.

We stopped at Cleveland Dam because LOOK AT THIS VIEW.

We have an ongoing schtick that if the zombies attack, I'm going to cap bridge. Supposedly they can't climb trees. David is going to the dam. He's going to live under it.

Stopped in Stanley Park.
