Davey got new sunglasses today. He loves them cause they're fun to chew on. I love 'em cause it means he might not chew on mine so much... Posted by Hello

A Day At the Zoo

Yesterday we took Davey to the zoo for the first time. Yah, he's probably a bit young yet, but it's always been one of our favorite places. And Davey seemed to enjoy it. I don't think he noticed most of the animals (unless they were close enough to touch) but as usual he LOVED watching the people. ESPECIALLY the other little boys. He's just rarin' to get down and play with them!!

This old grandfather obliged us by posing for a picture. He'd been lying flat on his side so you could hardly see him, but sat right up and smiled pretty for his picture. Isn't he kingly? Posted by Hello

A quick stop in the Big Apple...

On the way to Toronto we stopped to stretch our legs at the Big Apple. It's this cool roadside attraction where they make PIES. I've never actually had one. But they have a petting zoo and mini golf and you can race remote control cars. It was a GREAT place to stop (as opposed to a gas station!!)

Davey fed grass to a sheep - which he LOVED until the sheep got a bit excited and nipped his hand!!!

One of the very rare times Davey let someone other than dad or mum hold him. Posted by Hello

Tuesday June 21: Our last full day in Kingston

Davey's first time Barbecuing. He had a lot of firsts in Ontario. He crawled (Backwards); went to school, went for a wade at the beach...good times. Posted by Hello

Look at that meaty fist! ALL Davey did this trip was eat. OMYGOODNESS! And you should see his legs. Did they ever chunk up while we were gone or what! I hope this means he's in for another growth spurt... Posted by Hello

The next three pictures were taken along the waterfront in the old part of Kingston. I'm still not in love with Kingston (sorry Andrew!) but I can see why you might think it interesting. I could easily live in Prince Edward County though. I wish we could have had a week there! Posted by Hello

A Mystery Book Shop in Kingston. Posted by Hello

One of the things I love about parts of Ontario is how it feels like you're in Europe. Don't you want to go find out what's around the corner? Posted by Hello

This little archway reminded me of Ascona, Switzerland. When Andrew and I were there three years ago, we got to our hotel by going through a little archway into a courtyard like this. Sooo pretty. Posted by Hello
