He did it AGAIN! I don't know WHAT he's doing...trying to sit down?? At least this time he waited to start crying until I'd turned the flash on and snapped a few pictures :) and note the jingle bells are still in his hand... Posted by Picasa

I'm blaming his dad. Posted by Picasa

Yesterday I ran into the kitchen to grab the phone while Davey was playing in the living room. All of a sudden he let out a yelp and then started crying. This is what I found. Notice he's drinking his bottle AND crying. Silly baby. Posted by Picasa

Another Day at the beach

Tomorrow Andrew finally returns to work. Davey and I get very used to having him home, so it's really hard to adjust...on the other hand, he's had four days off so that's been GREAT!

Today we had a day with just us three. So after a lazy morning, and lunch, we drove to Crescent Beach for another walk. Davey got more and more irritable - or clingy - as we got further out. But then he seemed to perk up again on the walk (though you can see in the picture of him in his stroller that he's not looking himself). Then on the way home he got SO cranky. He was crying and crying...which is totally unlike him. A little probing in his mouth revealed that he has six teeth on top and one more on the way in, as well as three molars on the way. But tylenol and teething pills didn't help. At home again, we stripped him and found he had a nasty rash all over his chest. Everything he'd eaten today he's had many times, but maybe it was the peanut butter. I think today was his third time having it. DURN BLAST IT cause he really likes pbutter.

Today we wanted to go for a walk AND get Davey's nap in. So we drove down to Crescent Beach. Unfortunately the rain was still coming down like crazy there, but it looked like there was blue sky at WhiteRock. No blue sky, but at least it wasn't pouring.

It was soooo windy at the beach. And a really, really high tide. Made for great spray crashing over the rocks. Posted by Picasa

Davey loved the lighted arches. He thought they looked like they'd be great fun to swing off of. Posted by Picasa

Did I mention how COLD it was down on the beach?? Thank goodness Davey fits in my coat! Posted by Picasa

Hey Mamma, try some cereal. It's gooooood (and I hear it's especially good smeared all over the camera lens!!) Posted by Picasa

Today our cat barfed on our new floors. Unfortunately, I didn't realise this until I noticed Davey had something funky all over his pant legs (MAN I hope he didn't try to eat any of it!!) I had to fight him off the whole time I was cleaning it up (He was SO mad at me for not letting him play in it). And then, while I was washing my hands, he stole the paper towels. Those two are conspiring against me, I swear it. Posted by Picasa
