Tonight I posted a link to the stroller I've been eyeing for the past few months. Denise left some very wise comments that have had me checking out strollers online. Trouble is, they all think they're the best stroller out there.
Those of you who have had two kids, close in age...what worked for you? I do have a double umbrella stroller that we used with Davey and Jadey. A cheap Walmart one that is a bit bent...but it worked okay for walking Ashlie to school. I found it a bit wide for navigating some of the sidewalks in our neighborhood, which is what had me looking at sit and stand strollers.
I'm pretty sure this stroller is going to be for walks in our neighborhood and to the beach. When we go to the mall, I just throw both kids in a shopping cart or borrow one of their mall strollers.
So, any ideas for me?
Thanks :)
this is the Phil and Ted stroller I thought I wanted back when Davey was still a wee tyke. Now I think he'd probably hate not being able to see anything. I know I would!
This is the kind of stroller I've been looking at lately. But online critiques say that the toddler never gets to sit comfortably cause the infant is usually reclined, or the car seat gets in the way. Plus it's hard to get in the basket to store anything. Hmnnnn....

Not that I'm experienced in the multiple children scenario, but our friends have the last stroller you have pictured here, and they love it. Their kids are further apart in age though (2.5 years), so that might be different, because their oldest can handle standing for a longer time. But there's my 2 cents :)
Right now we have the chariot double jogging stroller/bike trailer. We got it last summer to tow Devin all around White Rock and she just loves it. We just got the jogging wheel and now she wants to walk everywhere too. There are two infant attachments to go with the stroller (obviously not for use when biking 'cuz infants can't go biking) that we are going to get and try. With this, both kids have an equal view of everything. The web site is: http://www.chariotcarriers.com/html_english/cheetah2.htm (I think this is the one we have...)

hey, if you're using that joovy stroller (that's the exact one we have) for non mall stuff, it works for us -- both kids love it. Just a little bit bigger and heavier than a single stroller, so it's much more maneuverable than a BIG double stroller. The storage underneath is only good for small things you don't need to access a lot, but while we have the baby seat thing on, we hang the diaper bag from the front, and that works well. The mall is the only place I've found it lacking. Maybe if Davey listens better than Joshua and isn't as curious, it would work for you there too. I can see for an older toddler there would be no problems -- Joshua is just getting it down pat now at just over 2 years. At 19 months though, we had a tough first few useages, and a vow NEVER to use it in the mall until he was better trained in the rules of operation. -de
