Apparently the kids didn't burn off enough energy on the hike, so while I loaded the car, they tore around on this grassy verge.

Our serious, thoughtful firstborn. David is all boy. He loves climbing trees, riding his bike, playing with lego and transformers and hurling himself off anything and everything. But he also loves snuggling. That makes him pretty much perfect in my books.
