Today Andrew stayed home and watched Davey while I worked.

They had a great time together, playing outside from 830 till 915, then the boys embarked on a BIG walk...Together they walked from our house to downtown and had coffee at McBurneys. From doing the Terry Fox walk last fall I'd say they walked at least 10 kms roundtrip. Davey charmed the owner of McBurneys into giving him free snacks and drinks (I KNEW we had that kid for a reason!) and Andrew enjoyed all the attention too.

Once they got back home, there was barely time for a diaper change before they jumped in the truck to come visit mum. Davey stayed with me at TWU while Andrew went to finish a few last minute things at our old house (painting baseboards in the bathroom and reattaching the tap in the bath, then loading all of our supplies into the truck). Meanwhile Davey was VERY very good in the office.

First he sat very still and ate french fries and strawberries and grapes. Once he'd satisfied his hunger, he explored Cary's office. That done, we went outside for a short walk. He made mum do laps up and down the hill, back and forth towards the pond, and hiding under the big student centre. I wish I'd had my camera to take pictures and show you how cute he was.

Back in Cary's office, he sat at her desk (sorry Cary!) and phone dad. Much head shaking, nodding and NOs ensued until he finally hung up with a loud bang. Maybe he was trying to negotiate a raise?

Finally Dad showed up to pick Davey up and they both had a long nap. Till noisy mamma showed up hollering about dinner that is.
