It feels like we almost never get to be all together. And so we like to make the most of it.
Let's see. We coloured.
A lot (thank goodness for Michaels' after Christmas blowout. We were able to find a bunch of really cool crafts that the kids could do without much direction).
My brothers (living opposite ferry trips apart) rarely are here at the same time. And so Charlotte and Ada were in heaven.
Look at them!
The kids read stories to each other too.
Let me see what else I can think of to document. Uhm. Ada is the oldest of the boys' kids. She's six. Charlotte will be six in March. Ruben is four, Camille is 2 and Solomon is 1. Alexis is homeschooling her kids, so both Ruben and Ada read and are learning French.
Charlotte started kindergarten this year, she's in French immersion and also speaks French.
The girls spent a lot of time playing together, I didn't get pictures of the games they played in the basement. Hella cute.
The decent (i.e. not rainy) weather continued, so Eireen and I took the kids to the park behind our house.
Of course the first order of business was playing on all the equipment.
Kay then the kids played a game together. It involved Ada being Queen (there was a lot of that this week) and Charlotte and Ruben collected treasures for her (pine cones).
Camille wasn't interested in their game.
And then Camille found Adelaide a crown!
We played in cars, we jumped on the trampoline!
And then we came in to warm up and chill out.
