This is Davey waiting for the shuttlebus to take us to the airport here in Vancouver. I think it was actually COLDER here then it was in Edmonton. Okay, maybe not quite, but it was close!

Hmmn, I look like I've had too much to drink, but Chadya looks great. And don't worry, after the photo op we gave the drinks to our husbands to drink ;oP 

Goofing off for us. 

Apparently you haven't experienced Alberta until you've drunk from your boot. 

Davey didn't much care for the cold at first, but by the time we took him in, he didn't want to go in either. 

Scott and Chadya wouldn't let us eat until we'd shoveled the driveway. Even davey had to do some shoveling before he was allowed to eat!! 

 

Davey wanted in on the dress up action. Here he is in my new sun glasses. 

Chad and I have always wanted to get hats. We've spent seven years looking for the perfect hats, and finally found some...only to have them stolen by... 

Scott and Andrew (and daveybear) in their gorgeous hats. We call them, "the brotherhood of the travelling hats". 

With their imaginary sharp shooters. 

And he's STILL wearing it, four hours later... 

Me and Andrew were goofing around with the camera last night so Davey wanted to join in. Here's his goofy camera face :oP 

Moving Day for the Lythlys

Davey and Jadey's new favorite pasttime...playing in puddles.


We're hardy BC folk. A little rain can't spoil our fun.


Ashlie and Jadey came over today while their mom and dad moved. First we went to the park & washed the car. When we got home, Jadey and Davey napped. Ashlie started the eating while they were asleep. This is at 11. These three kids proceeded to eat and eat and eat until I FORCED them out of the house at 3pm. I thought my pantry was safe at least until their teen years....





All of a sudden in the last few weeks, Davey really likes blankies and stuffed animals. Specially thinks it's funny to give you kisses from this little ape.


These kids sure do like their blueberries


"MUUUUUUUM, Jadey keeps stealing my lunch!"


"I'm not stealing them auntie, this one's for you!!"



"Well if you're going to keep stealing my blueberries, at least let me choose which ones you eat..."
