And We're Two for Two

Today I had my monthly doctor's appointment. I'm officially at 24 weeks now. Nothing too unusual, though I did get the results of my doctor-ordered ultrasound. Apparently baby refused to show it's heart properly. No suprise there. Neither would Davey and so I ended up having five ultrasounds to try to see the heart, one early on to determine due date, and one two days before I delivered for a whopping total of SEVEN ultrasounds. Anyway, you all don't care about that.

What I really wanted to tell you was that our baby flashed the tech again, so even though noone will commit to gender, we're two for two on the guesses. Which frees me up to start calling baby by name.

Tinkerbelle Daisy Menary. (Andrew wants to spell it T'NKER Belle, but I'm not into the alternate spellings.) Okay, we're so just kidding, but now that we're semi sure we're having a GIRL, I'm completely in doubt over our girl name choices. It was so much easier when Andrew picked David's name without giving me a choice in the matter. I keep trying to persuade him to do it again, but he's not cooperating so well.

We had been leaning towards Lena Elisabeth after my Great Grandma on my dad's side and my grandma on my mum's side. But now I LOVE the name Katherine Kelly (great grandma's first and maiden name on mum's side), but since we already named our first kid the same name as my brother, I think people will think I'm weird if kid number two (Tinkerbelle from now on) is named after my sister. Will you think I'm weird? Cause I love that name. *sigh*

On a compeletely different note, Tink's big brother is STILL kinda sickish. He'll play, but he won't eat, and when I do make him eat, it's not so pretty. Though at least he's not vomiting anymore (nuff information for all of you out there??)

Kay, I'm heading to the health store to find some acidophilus to see if that helps.
