After we finished playing, it was time to take the wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch. I will seriously never get tired of going to pumpkin patches. I hope my kids never do either.
They let us off at the start of the corn maze, and we had to make our way through to get to the pumpkins.
David adopted a strategy of always turn right.
Some of us followed him.
Some of us were following Elisabeth, but we stupidly stopped and she finished first while the rest of us floundered.
Then it was time to find our pumpkins!
Looks like Lizzie found a great one!
David was the first one to find a pumpkin.
Then Lizzie found one. I guess with age you know what you're looking for. While youth still flounders.

And Ada decided she wanted a white ghost pumpkin.
Okay so that was fun. Now it was time to carve our pumpkins. First we drew our designs.
And then we started cutting.
Turns out Elisabeth is our champion gut scooper.
