Last night I thought I had my whole day today planned out. Then my cousin Michelle called me (by the way, don't try and call me on my home phone till I either remember to take Mum's phone filters or we get the new ones from Primus. I can't hear a thing on the phone...it's embarassing).
Anyway, Michelle is arriving with a boy she day cares and we're having a play date. Yay! I thought. Well, that still gives me the whole day pretty much to do everything I had planned.
Then this morning Natasha called and said, Hey, how 'bout we come over. So I thought, why not?! It's not like I had anything planned that wouldn't wait. And so here we are. But just as I was expecting Tash to walk through the door, my good friend David from highschool called and said he was across the road at his folks house. COME ON OVER I said. I love a full house.
So. Over the noise of five kids, the air conditioner, the construction workers across the road and the team of pressure washers cleaning windows around the complex, we had had a great little visit:
Only me and Seth are missing from this picture:Mayah is so good. She sat in this chair and played quietly almost the whole time. She is an amazing kid!
Tink, swooping in for a mug shot ;)
Davey LOVES Riley. They made more noise than everything else. But it was good noise!
Me and my girl:
Some wierdo from around the complex shoved his head in the picture. Ah well, he was friendly enough ;)
Mayah posing for me.
And Seth...after eating the dirt from my flower beds. Little monkey!!

Last weekend I must have been feeling the itch to do some gardening. On Saturday we went to Little Mountain Nurseries and bought a few bags of bark mulch, two different kinds of fertilizer, soil and dirt. Mostly I just improved on our gardens, but this little spot here was nothing but a bit of weird looking dirt. So on one of our walks I found some more of these rocks and extended the dirt some. Used some of the soil I bought and made a mini flower bed. Looks pretty good I think. I picked the black eyed susans, Davey loaded everything else up onto the cart. He was very excited to be in a garden store!!
This is Elisabeth yesterday afternoon enjoying some popcorn in the yard.Trying on her big brother's boots. She didn't like them much.
And he didn't like her wearing them much! After this he wore one of each pair so that she couldn't wear a matched pair.
Playing at her water table. The next best thing to a bath! She loves water so much! The day we were moving in here I was trying to unpack the kitchen while the movers finished carrying our stuff in. She was not content anywhere and there wasn't anywhere for her to have a nap. So I filled the sink up with water, stripped her naked and plopped her in. I got a good 90 minutes of work done!!
I'm not sure why he's crying here. Poor little sap, yesterday was a hard day for him. He did an awful lot of crying. Today we went out to visit mum and Kat and the girls. He was SO excited. Then slept all the way home again. Much better day today!
Tonight while he was waiting for Andrew to come home. he's playing and eating at the same time. After dinner we went to the nearby elementary school. Tink was so excited she almost jumped out of my arms before I could get her to the playground!!
FINALLY she gets to play like all the other kids!
Holy moley was she ever exhausted by the time we got her home. I think she just did laps around this playground the whole time we were there. No fear.
Here Davey is taking a nap on a little ledge. Right after that he got the idea that he needed his diaper changed and that I should do it right here on the ledge.

Another new blog
I decided to create a new blog with all my videos on it (except for the new one which is posted below). This is for my family in Switzerland's benefit so they can view them all in one place. However, I know some of you have favorite videos so now you have your own ProjectDavid TV station to watch (or something).
Davey was just watching the video of his big crash with me (and laughing) then at the end he says, "somebody should take him to the doctor".
Dad, I've used your car to run errands the past two days. Davey is always very excited to see it. But he keeps asking, "where's my car?" I thought he meant one of his matchbox cars so I always say, "I don't know". Today I finally figured out he's asking why we're driving YOUR car as opposed to ours.
Which explains this conversation a whole lot better...
Davey: This is Gross papa's car?
Me: Yes it is.
Davey: We're driving in it?
Me: Yes we are. It's fun isn't it?
Davey: Did we steal it?

And we're back!!
This is taken in the last days before we moved. I think I have pictures of all the kids with my bandana on. None of them ever like it...Davey decided that we'd piled these boxes up for him to climb on. And he was really mad that he couldn't quite make it to the top of the pile.
As I mentioned before, we decided to take Tink to Dinotown for her birthday. Here's the show:
Andrew seemed to like it...
I think I already described our trip in a previous post. So let me just say that we're getting used to the new neighborhood.
I grew up in Chilliwack and still have some friends out here, but since we're a one car family and we live way up in the mountains, I still hardly ever see anyone. Oh well, luckily I enjoy that. I think Davey misses seeing people though.
Elisabeth is really and truly walking since this weekend. She doesn't bother with crawling at all anymore, unless she needs to get to something to pull herself up. Yes, though she's fully capable of standing anywhere, she still thinks she needs to pull herself up. We'll try and work on that.
Both kids have been sick lately. Davey had a fever of almost 40 for three days, and then was complaining of his throat and chest hurting. As of last night he seemed better, but we're keeping an eye on it. Elisabeth hasn't had the fever, but she's very grizzly. Maybe it's the four or more teeth coming through though.
I'm about blogged out. I uploaded 650 pictures to my computer and tried really hard to cull it down as I posted them here...I think I only blogged about a hundred!!
