Our serious, thoughtful firstborn. David is all boy. He loves climbing trees, riding his bike, playing with lego and transformers and hurling himself off anything and everything. But he also loves snuggling. That makes him pretty much perfect in my books.

i went to this parenting workshop thing when allison was 1 and they were saying that between 1.5 and 2, little girls should be pretending to read books to their dolls. allison never did that; there was only one mom who put up her hand and said that her daughter did that, and quite frankly, i think she was LYING to make herself look like a better mom!
so the fact that you captured this on film means that i do not think you are bragging about being a better mom than me. though you may have orchestrated this entire event by promising to give her seven candy bars. you're just as bad as me.
also, moving is no excuse to stop blogging.

She'll be a great mother from the way she handled wiping Davey's face at lunch,I half expected her to do the whole spitting on the napkin thing.
