Our camera suddenly decided that it's not going to download pictures. Not being very technically savvy...or at least not as savvy as Andrew, I have no idea what the trouble is. Hopefully it's something really dumb and not that our camera is useless. I cannot survive anymore without a digital camera!! Plus, it's not even two years old yet!!
Seems like that kind of day though, the enter key on Andrew's laptop is also only working 25% of the time (just like the "s" key). argh.
So, I'll just give a brief update on what we did today cause I know the grandfolks like to know:
Andrew had a doctor's appointment and lunch with a co-worker.
Meanwhile, Davey had a long nap.
I took advantage of the peace and quiet and painted another wall or two in our bedroom, tidied up a bit, then decided to dismantle the closet organizer in our walk in (which I hate). Andrew got home in time to prevent me from ripping it from the wall with my bare hands (the shelf I happened to be working on was fastened on in a peculiar manner, and I didn't have the patience for it). After spending about an hour playing with different ideas and searching online, I decided that we should scrap the existing organizers and get a nifty rubbermaid one. Andrew is just about done installing it, then I have to get all our clothes off our bed so we can go to sleep. Poor guy, I just create more work for him.
On the other hand, we're going to have so much room for storage in the closet now!! YAY. Andrea loves storage!!!
So, if our camera ever starts working again, I have a picture of Davey suntanning - proof that he is in fact related to the Hahlens.
Pictures of Davey wearing the sweater Julius Chow gave him. Because it finally fits. YAY again.
Pictures of Jadey and Davey eating lunch in Davey's room today. More like siblings than cousins. I really wonder how tink's arrival will change the dynamic between them. Or if she won't. It will be interesting to find out.
Had an absolutely brilliant idea for a business adventure with Jenn today. Told her about it. She's in. or at least INterested. Cause she doesn't have enough to do, so I'm making more work for her too. Hmmn. Maybe that's one of my stress behaviours. When I feel overwhelmed I take it out on my nearest and dearest by helping them reach overwhelmed too. Anyway, watch this spot for more news about our new venture...in the next l'il bit anyway.
********Andrew got the camera working. Here's the pictures!***************
Davey admiring his new sweater. Thank you Julius and Elsa!
Davey and Jadey...she looks a bit aprehensive because Davey has a sock toy in his hand that he was throwing all over the place...and his aim isn't particularly good...
Stopped for lunch.
I wonder what they're talking about. Looks interesting.
Ready to help daddy with the closet organizer. Power drill in one hand, traditional screwdriver in the other.
Sweeping the patio for mamma.
He's been very thirsty lately. Here he is with a hot tea and a water. Gotta keep hydrated these humid spring days.
Lounging around. Shades of Grosspapa Emil if you ask me!!
And another good shot of his new sweater.

This is a MAN baby. Pretty soon he'll be bringing in the money. Love the feet up, taking a coffee break shot.
