I have never seen the tide so far out as it was today. When we got home mum asked me if we thought about tsunamis at all...she would have taken one look at the extra beach and run for the hills. And no, we did exactly what everyone in Asia did....tried to walk as far out on the ocean floor as possible. This is the view to the ocean.
