Happy Birthday to ME!

Monday was my birthday. Andrew took the day off and we got up extra early and headed to Vancouver to Stanley Park and the Vancouver Aquarium!

The reason we chose the Vancouver Aquarium is because Davey has been completely enamored with the movie Shark Tale lately. So we told him we were going to see Oscar and Lenny. He was VERY excited...until we walked towards the dark hall of fish tanks. Then he got a little scared.

Elisabeth thought it was awesome. She kept trying to get into the tanks with the fish (and at one point even ran into the glass of a floor to ceiling tank and almost knocked herself over!)

EEEK!

See?! She's climbing in with the birds and turtles!

Davey's favorite part is always the belugas.

He could sit and watch them all day.

If you've already forgotten, Monday was miserable. We brought a picnic lunch, but of course there was no where to eat it. So we had our picnic in the car. I pulled out the camera to grab a pic of tink's hair. This was her reaction...
