A Fort Langley Christmas

We have littles in town, so what a great opportunity to use our annual passes at Fort Langley and go see the Christmas festivities.

It was a cold, wet day, so it seems as though most of the advertised festivities were cancelled. But they still had the usual activities on.

The kids weren't much interested in this presentation. But they did love the salmon!

Then my kids showed them how to shape the wood for making barrels.

And then we went to the other side of the cooperidge to make barrels. First Liz showed them how it's done.

Then the kids tried it for themselves.

We went outside where Rubey ran straight for this cute little sign.

And enjoyed the interactive displays.

And the rest of us watched the best blacksmith I've ever seen here. And they have great blacksmiths.

Next it was into the trading building where we looked at goods that they have historically traded in Fort Langley.

The next building was playing Christmas movies.

AND THEN WE WENT INTO THE NEXT ONE WHICH THEY'VE COMPLETELY REDONE AND IT'S SO COOL.

We may have spent a lot of time in here.

As you can see, everyone got right into it.

Next was food!

Still a family favorite!
