Strolling in Sidney

We went to the island to celebrate Andrew's fiftieth and also to visit Rob's family. We hardly ever see them and were feeling desperate! We arrived to find everything in bloom.  I was in heaven to see all the blossoms.

Andrew kindly stopped and let me take pictures.

Someone is addicted to taking pictures these days.

I finally let Andrew park the car and we started walking towards the ocean. Look at this gorgeous magnolia.

You may be able to tell it was just a little windy and cold.

 Oh look, a ship!

Stopped to visit with this old guy for a few minutes.

And ventured about this far down the pier. But really it was SO cold, no one wanted to go much further.

Look at the waves crashing on shore. It didn't look like there was much in the way of beach on glass beach.

Despite our wussiness, it was still fun watching the waves crashing.

From here we went to the candy store and got some treats for the kids. Then we hopped back in the car and headed towards Cattle Point.
