Father's Day Eve BBQ and Sleepover

Elisabeth's very good friend Haylea had a birthday party, and we were all invited. I've mentioned a bazillion times how hot it's been, so the pool was very welcome. The kids barely got out to eat dinner, and we parents roasted in the sun. Okay, it wasn't that bad, but oh that pool!

Also, I was surprised my two kids wanted to float around in this boat given how much they hated that camp they went to where they had to go in boats. Weirdos.

They obviously had fun in this one.

Elisabeth slept over at Haylea's so the rest of us went to Fort Langley for a stroll and ice cream at Ritual.
