Snow Play

Well after all the snow yesterday, and with more snow forecast for Saturday, we decided we'd better shovel the driveway this morning. So here we all are outside bright and early to get a good start on it.
After a few minutes of heavy work, Davey decided he needed a Popsicle. Alexis, I don't know if you will see this, but see? These kids don't know the meaning of "popsicle weather!"


By this time I've taken Tink inside and put her down for a nap. Davey really wanted to help his dad shovel snow, but we just didn't have a shovel that was easy for him to use. So I taught him to eat snow instead.


He really really liked it.

When he got tired of that, we had him brush the snow off the car.




Finally it got too cold for him outside, so we came in for hot chocolate with marshmallows.

And finally, about three hours after we started, Andrew got the driveway cleared. PHEW!
