I already blogged about July 4th and our party at the Abelmans. On July 5th we found out that the place where you can watch the whales is Point Roberts. So off we went. Grabbed a picnic at their international grocery store and headed to the beach. Yippeee!
Only the tide was way, way, way out! (that's the Tswwassen beach you can see here-below)
So with no whales to spot, we decided to play instead.
Andrew practiced what he'd been learning in his Father's Day book on building sand castles. Cool, no?
Then we went for a walk near the marina. Where Tinker looked adorable.
And Davey stopped on every bench and in every wheel barrow to pretend to sleep!
He wasn't impressed when Tink jumped in too.
Then we stopped for ice cream. See how happy Davey was about it?
At home I made the kids pose by the corn so I could take pictures to brag.
And also of our first new potatoes.
The end.
