I love having ultraounds done at the hospital. I don't know why they get such a bad rep there, I always find them so much nicer than the laser imaging place. And the nurses are great too. They're understaffed, sure, but I'd rather wait an extra few minutes (which, actually, theyI was in and out faster than at the imaging place) and have pleasant service than grumpy service.
Anyhoo, I had my last ultrasound for this pregnancy today. The late term ultrasound was to make sure that I have enough amniotic fluid. Which I do. The tech was done her stuff in about 15 minutes, and spent the rest of the time showing me my little girl. Apparently she's all arms and legs. REALLY long legs. Her knees were up round her face. Hmnn, reminds me of her mother already.
She also guessed at Tink's weight, which she thinks is about 7, 13. They estimated Davey at one ounce less than what he actually weighed, so I think even though it's a guess, it's probably pretty accurate.
Tink is head WAAAAAAY down, and was sleeping with her spine along my right side and her fists up by her face. Again, reminds me of her mamma. I even got a picture of her profile. Can't tell who she looks like yet...
So, obviously not gonna have a baby pool since I've divulged her approximate weight and you already know she's a girl. But thought you might get a kick outta these details.

i think it's so cool that you are having a girl! girls are so rad! we can teach her to climb trees and have a sassy attitude!
She's going to be the perfect blend of frilly pink dresses and tomboy coolness.
